Any eligible veteran or family member may request to have the veteran’s name placed on the memorial by filling out the form below. The form must be submitted to the village office by the last day in April for Memorial Day postings and September 11 for Veterans Day postings.If you would like to contribute to the memorial, (not required) $20.00 is the suggested amount to cover the cost of the name plaque.

PSA: POOL CLOSURE PROCEDURE
The MtBlanchard Public Swimming pool is scheduled to be opened seven (7) days a week from late May to End of August. It is our goal to remain open throughout the entire summer. Please visit Facebook: Village of Mt. Blanchard and/or “What’s Up Mt Blanchard” for updated pool operations.
The following information are considerations that would cause pool to be closed:
- Current air temperature -70 degrees or below
- Water temperature – 68 degrees or below
- Weather forecast- thunderstorms and/or lightning are dangerous conditions
- Lifeguard availability – pool must be proper ratio of staff
If any of the above information is apparent early in the morning, please go to the village Facebook pages for daily pool operation updates, including reopening if weather improves later in the day.
