Mt. Blanchard is home to Veterans Memorial Park, Island Park along the Blanchard River, and Hurricane Park on S. Main St. — offering green space, recreation, and community gathering spots for all residents.
Veterans Memorial Park
Veterans Memorial Park honors yesterday's and today's veterans who served our country. Located in the center of downtown where West Clay meets Main Street, it is dedicated to remembering the service of those in the greater Mt. Blanchard community who served in the Armed Forces. Any eligible veteran or family member may request to have the veteran's name placed on the memorial.

Swimming Pool — Closure Policy
- Water temperature must be at least 68°F to open. The daily decision is made at 11:00 am.
- If storms occur prior to opening, the pool opens 30 minutes after all storm activity stops.
- Lightning or thunder means no swimming for at least 30 minutes. If lightning or thunder returns, the clock resets.
- No rainchecks or refunds for weather-related closures.
- Pool managers have discretion to close for the day if inclement weather persists.
